These athletes put in mind-boggling hours perfecting the art of racing  friends from the pool to the ocean in Cabo San Lucas, eliminating tan lines in Montauk and sipping fruity drinks with tiny umbrellas by the pool in Miami Beach. 

And just as the pros do, it's a constant battle looking for that edge, the small details that separate winners from the losers.  And that means needing to wear the best, most comfortable, most supportive, most lightweight footwear known to mankind.   It's the shoe of choice that separates the best from the rest and that’s where Jackwest becomes the secret sauce for success.

BEHIND THE BRAND - Jackwest is a leisure inspired, athletic minded footwear brand located in Portland, Oregon.   

Jackwest was founded in 2020 by athletic and outdoor industry footwear veterans who have over 50 years experience in marketing, design, development and sales experience, working for global brands that include Nike, adidas, The North Face, Puma, Under Armour, KEEN and Columbia Sportswear. 

The idea was this - what if our favorite flips and slides felt like our favorite running shoes?  So we focused our knowledge of athletic and outdoor shoe making towards the footwear that we loved wearing, and that's flips & slides.  

And then we obsessed on achieving balance, structure, stability, cushioning, rebound, traction and lightweight functionality and with clean and uncluttered design and aesthetic.

As a result, our products all have athletic DNA, are incredibly lightweight, are crazy comfortable and crazy good looking.

That's the story.  And we're sticking to it.
